Looking for a health provider passionate about helping you achieve a better quality of life? It is with pleasure that Katie Douglas, Registered Kinesiologist, announces the launch of her active based rehabilitation services in Owen Sound and surrounding areas. Sound Body Kinesiology is a rehabilitation and fitness clinic aimed at providing members of the community with quality patient-centred services following injury, illness or inactivity. The aim is to assist individuals in regaining or sustaining meaningful day-to-day life and help them achieve their own personal goals. Katie has a science degree in Kinesiology from the University of Victoria and a post-graduate diploma in Rehabilitation from Otago University, New Zealand. She has worked for more than a decade in New Zealand and Canada with CBI Health, an international leader in rehabilitation services (formerly Canadian Back Institute) treating individuals with an array of physical impairments following workplace, motor vehicle, sports or personal injury. Combining a fascination for human movement and a passion for helping others, Katie is excited to offer her services to those in her local community. Katie is pleased to welcome patients to her newly renovated rehabilitation studio, or will travel to provide services to patients in their own home or appropriate outdoor locations. Appointments are currently available Mondays and Thursdays or by special arrangement. Katie is committed to spending quality time with her patients to ensure that each individual receives a thorough assessment, appropriate education and regular progressions, so that they are able to participate in the achievement of their own personal goals.
