About Me Let me start from my roots… I’m a Dairy Farm Girl at heart and have learned to work hard and enjoy nature and its beauty. My love for ARTS, drawing and painting was discovered at a young age where family and friends would praise me for my artistic abilities and from winning numerous art contests at school. As life progressed, bigger and better things came along such as getting married to the Love of my Life and raising my 2 children; Family is my everything. For the past 6 years, I have been involved with the South-East 4-H Dairy Club as Head Leader and Project Leader. This has been a super experience for me where I have developed great relationships and networks with people, learned the importance of team work, being organised for events and supporting your local communities. Now that my children are all grown up, I decided it was my ME TIME as I felt something was missing, I was craving to use my creative/artistic abilities. I decided to pursue taking an Interior Design course during 2013 – 2014. “Your Space by Rach” was born from a desire in putting my artistic/creative talents in motion, receiving my Diploma in Interior Design through The Interior Design Institute and getting hands on experience through my mentor, which happens to be my brother Patrick, from Rêve Custom Homes. I love creating colour schemes, mood boards, creating floor plans etc. I truly believe I have found my niche in life through Interior Design. I enjoy sitting down with my clients and listening to what their needs and wish lists are for their Interior Design home projects. I realize that this can be overwhelming for some people and want to make the process as seamless as possible by helping them make sound decisions within their budgets and creating an inviting home.
