How did we get the name 'Wu Wu's'? It's simple. In Portuguese, a Grandfather is commonly called Vovo pronounced "Vo-voh." Years ago host Alfredo DaSilva's Granddaughter, unable to pronounce Vovo, began calling him Wu Wu. The name stuck and now most of Alfredo's family and friends simply call him Wu Wu. When you stay at Wu Wu's Cabins, you become an extended member of Wu Wu's family. Alfredo lives on the property, fulfilling his dream of creating a family-friendly cottage court providing year round accommodation, serving the needs of customers for years and generations to come. Wu Wu's Cabins offers free parking and is conveniently located steps away from the tranquil and sandy New Wasaga Beach. Accommodations include (6) two-bedroom cottages and (2) three-bedroom units attached to the main building. All of the cabins have been updated including four totally renovated and winterized cottages. Our four season accommodation options allow you to enjoy all that Wasaga Beach has to offer. You can sun, swim and play in the summer; fish and take in the amazing colour display in the fall; snowshoe, snowmobile and cross country ski in the winter; or come and observe the numerous birds migrating back to the area in the spring, including the endangered Piping Plover shorebird.
