White Rock Bowen

BOWEN THERAPY Bowen Therapy is a holistic approach to pain relief and healing that has achieved remarkable results over the past 50 years. It is based on the recognition by Tom Bowen, its originator, that the underlying cause or source of many musculoskeletal, neurological, neuromuscular, and other pain and inflammation problems can be found in the soft tissue, or fascia. Bowen Therapy, through specific fascial release and integration techniques, stimulates specific receptors that enable your body itself to correct dysfunctions and restore homeostasis (balance) on a holistic level. *** PSYCH-K THERAPY PSYCH-K allows the client to reprogram the mind with new, self-enhancing beliefs during a relaxed, whole-brained state that creates balanced identification with both hemispheres of the cerebral cortex. This state reduces stress and helps the client access their full response potential to life’s continually evolving challenges. The practice uses simple, yet powerful techniques to change subconscious beliefs that limit your self-esteem, relationships, job performance, and health. Through a unique blend of various tools for change derived from contemporary neuroscience research, as well as ancient mind/body wisdom, this process transcends the standard methods of visualization, affirmations, will power, counselling, hypnosis and positive thinking and is especially effective in the areas of behavioural/habit change, wellness and stress reduction.
