Well Control Group was established in 2008 to take well control training to a higher level of competency. The group was initiated by Mr. Javed Shah P.Eng, after being involved in drilling and completions engineering and operations for about 37 years. Well Control Group offers superior training services and engineering solutions in well control for drilling, completions, and workovers. As an International Well Control Forum (IWCF) and IADC WellCAP accredited facility, we provide training and certification for both drilling and completion courses. On request, Well Control Group provides customized and advanced well control training to the industry. We have been able to help clients in controlling difficult well kick situations and leave the operator with a usable wellbore after the well had been killed. Our well control experts are available 24/7 to provide assistance to any client globally. As well as servicing the well control sector of the globe, our diverse team of instructors located at our eastern office reach out to clients anywhere quality safety training is required. Whether it be Oil and Gas, Marine, Construction, Mining, Emergency Response or whichever dimension work is ongoing we can provide experienced safety advisors/instructors to accomplish the task. Failure is not option! If course development is required; we will strive to satisfy our respected clients, maintaining all standards and following all legislative regulations. We offer global onsite training as well, often at great savings to our client, especially during these times of economic restraint. It’s a lot more fiscally beneficial to the client to send one trainer to a site than twelve workers to a classroom, especially if the training can be achieved during normal working hours. In turn, workers are happy they don’t have to spend days off, in a classroom, away from their loved ones. We also provide an array of Safety Services to clients for jobs ongoing.
