WCS Recycling North Vancouver Drop-off Depot

WCS Recycling’s Red Bag Recycling program is a community outreach program that provides an opportunity for the public to recycle materials that are not accepted in municipal programs. These materials include: Soft Plastics (Soft, stretchable plastics. Eg. Shopping bags, cling wrap, bubble wrap) Laminates (Non-stretchable, “crinkly” packaging. Eg. Chip bags, granola-bar wrappers) Rigid Plastics (Eg. clam-shell packaging, flower pots, bottle lids) Packing Styrofoam (Eg. Styrofoam packing blocks) Styrofoam Food Trays (Eg. Meat trays, egg cartons, take away containers) Plastic Foam (Foam wrappings) Household Metal (Eg. Yogurt lids, broken utensils, metal cookie tins) Batteries (All kinds) Electronics For the cost of $7.00 per large bag, participants are able to bring in an extended range of materials for recycling that would otherwise end up in landfills. Participants are asked to make use of the sorting tables to separate their materials into the labelled bins provided. Staff is happy to answer any questions, or to walk new participants through how the program works. Additionally, WCS Recycling provides public shredding drop-off services. Shredding is $7.00/bankers box, or $0.30/pound*. Customers are welcome to stay and watch as their documents are shredded. *There is a minimum charge of $20+GST for all shredding transactions.
