Timmins Hypnosis Centre is committed to helping people experience positive, lasting change in areas such as stress reduction, fears, sadness, self-esteem, weight management, and smoke cessation. Owner Monique Chenier is a certified consulting hypnotist and a registered member of the National Guild of Hypnotists. She is also a licensed practitioner of Thinner Band Hypnosis, a comprehensive weight management program. The centre is open by appointment only. Adult Programs Since trance is a learned experience and reinforcement is necessary for best results, I like to work with my clients for four sessions scheduled within a four to six week period and provide them with a personalized recording to reinforce what we have done. The recording is provided at, or shortly after, the final session. The initial session lasts approximately two hours. It includes about an hour of discussion and then a hypnosis session. Subsequent sessions last approximately one to one and a half hours. Booking the sessions one week apart is suggested, unless there are exceptional circumstances such as shift work restrictions or other particular issues. I highly recommend clients plan to attend a full four session program within a four to six week period to increase their rate of long term success and permanent change. Note: The amount of sessions needed can vary. In some cases, such as a specific fear or craving, two sessions may be sufficient (see below for pricing), while in the case of weight loss or pain management, more than four sessions are necessary. I have also, in certain instances, done a marathon of three sessions over the course of two or three days with much success. Smoke cessation is one of the few programs that can be completed in one session. Eight sessions cost $625. The full payment is made when booking the first session through this site. Smoke Cessation Programs Option 1 This program consists of one Stop Smoking Session lasting up to two hours, one reinforcement session (to be used as needed within the calendar year), and a reinforcement recording to support what we have done. This option provides a saving since the reinforcement session is pre-paid and not subject to changes in my pricing or in the client's financial situation. Option 2 This program consists of one Stop Smoking Session lasting up to two hours and a reinforcement recording to support what we have done. Payment of $165 is made through this site when booking the Stop Smoking Session. If you have any further questions or concerns, please feel free to contact me. When booking Stop Smoking options 1 or 2, please book two weeks ahead, since I will be corresponding with you during that time to help you prepare your mind and your home for smoke free living. Note to family members of smokers: please do not book this program without consulting your smokers. Ending this habit, once and for all, is their responsibility. When they are ready, they should be reading these lines themselves. Programs Designed for a Specific Fear or Craving These programs consist of an initial session lasting up to two hours. This 8 week program takes a comprehensive approach to weight loss that helps clients change from the inside out. Designed to reduce and even eliminate cravings, it will have you eating less and making healthier and healthier choices. Thinner Band Hypnosis includes imaginary gastric band surgery, wonderful hypnotic techniques to help change your relationship with food, and self-esteem building reinforcement recordings. All Pediatric Programs (8 to 12 years) These programs require a free preliminary consultation with the parent(s) to discuss the child's situation.
