The Anchor Kincardine

The Anchor is situated three minutes south of Kincardine, Ontario. A beautiful tourist town on the shores of Lake Huron with sandy beaches and a strong Scottish heritage, Kincardine is home to the famous weekly pipe band parade, and many festivals and events throughout the summer. The waters are perfect for boating, fishing, swimming, and surfing. Slightly off the beaten path, we are less than a two hours`drive from London or Kitchener, and three from the GTA. The rental property itself, named after the large anchor in the front yard salvaged from a historic shipwreck off of our coastline, sits across the road from one of the best strips of sandy beach in the area. To the end of the driveway and down a set of steps directly across from the house will take you to the clean sand and clear waters, where a three kilometer stroll will take you to Kincardine`s main Station Beach with its signature lighthouse and quaint harbour. Kincardine boasts many fine restaurants, farmers`markets, an art gallery and a community theatre, and streets filled with beautiful and well kept historic houses. The Anchor is comprised of two separate, three bedroom apartments. Each boast a full view of the lake and its incredible sunsets from the main rooms.
