Superior Students In-Home Tutoring provides in-home tutoring in direct conjunction with the Provincial Curriculum through the "8 Steps to Academic Independence" process as developed by Alexandra Stabins, to support child learning development to have children become independent learners and thinkers. Superior Students Tutoring does not fix skill gaps, we identify learning opportunities and not provide band-aid solutions. We work with the 8 Step process to develop the child's understanding of the curriculum skills that have been identified as their learning opportunities by way of the provincial specific pre-assessment. We then take the steps to increase the child's ability to work with the skill independently and therefore have them begin to learn how to learn and work with the concept in lesson to real-life situations. They understand, they don't memorize.
