Rebecca Stendie - Blackfalds Town Councillor

A responsible choice for Blackfalds Town Council! My husband and I have been a part of Blackfalds for almost 10 years now. We are both born and raised Albertans and have 4 wonderful children together. All 4 of those children either already attend Blackfalds schools or will when they are old enough. My love of local politics started at a young age and anyone who knows me will attest to my passion in this area. I am honored to be running for Blackfalds Town Council and feel that I have what it takes to be a great town representative. Firstly, I recognise that our community is largely populated by young, growing families. I am part of that demographic myself. This allows me to see firsthand the concerns affecting those families. Our town needs better representation for our young families. I can be that representation! Secondly, I clearly recognise that Blackfalds council is not made up of 1 council member. It is a team consisting of 6 Council Members, a Mayor, administration and staff and of course YOU. I want to be your representation as a part of the team that is known as Town Council. I am an efficient team player and collaborate well with others. Lastly, I have the passion and drive, ingenuity and ideas that will see Blackfalds continue to thrive in the next 4 years. I see the potential in Blackfalds and will work to continue to bring businesses and activities to our thriving community. A vote for me is a responsible choice for Blackfalds! VOTE STENDIE on October 16th.
