Peterborough Living Yoga

Located at 394 George St. N (Above Hasseltons Coffee Shop). Peterborough Living Yoga is being launched in downtown Peterborough in April 2015, by Tiina Kivinen, RYT, with the support of other yoga and meditation teachers/facilitators in the area. Peterborough Living Yoga is a gathering space for conscious community in Peterborough and the Kawarthas. We offer weekly classes in Yoga and meditation, YA Certified 200 hr Yoga Teacher Training, Continuing Education for Yoga Teachers, and community events and workshops. We seek to create a space that is inclusive, compassionate, and inspiring for people with all levels of experience, from absolute beginners to seasoned practitioners. We chose the name Living Yoga to celebrate nature (which we are filling the space with), and because we believe in taking the teachings of Yoga off the mat and into our lives, for the benefit of all beings. With emphasis on the deeper practices of yoga (including the eight limbs and the chakras), classes, workshops and trainings inspire a connection to the wisdom of prana (life force), and the experience of Yoga off the mat and in our lives.
