Oram's Ready Mix - Oram's Do All Contracting Ltd.

Oram's Do-All Contracting Limited (T/A Oram's Ready Mix) has its beginnings in 1983, when three brothers, Aubrey, Pleman and Pernell Oram formed the company. They first started out doing residential construction and commercial renovations in the Glovertown and Gander areas. They also had a cabinet shop where they built custom kitchen cabinets and vanities. Shortly after they purchase pieces of heavy equipment to compliment their existing business. They branched out into construction of roads, water and sewer, supply of aggregates, back-fill and site development. During the 1990s they designed and built a compost site along with a method to process fish offal and tree bark to make a high-quality compost. In the early 2000s the company decided to start a ready mix operation. The business already had extensive experience with concrete but working with small portable mixers was not feasible. They purchased a Steveson Throughbred 12 yard batch plant with three Mack mixer trucks. Today they have a modern batch plant, a large fleet of trucks, equipment and quarries. A work crew of qualified, experienced people who go well beyond to provide our customers with the best service in the market.
