Not Just Tourists Simcoe County

We collect, sort and pack up to 10 kg suitcases of medicines and supplies for countries with people in need. The suitcases are packed under the supervision of medical professionals. They are then delivered by tourists and business travellers to clinics in the most need. Not Just Tourists is entirely volunteer driven and has been operating since 1994. Donors will receive a release form from NJT Simcoe County so they are not responsible for any supplies donated. We accept the following: • Prescription medicines such as antibiotics, anti-inflammatories, anti-virals, diuretics, asthma puffers, blood pressure meds, cholesterol meds and others still sealed in their packaging. • Over-the-counter medicines such as those used to treat colds, allergies, headaches and arthritic pain. • Vitamins and minerals. • Supplies such as bandages, antiseptics, examination gloves, scalpels, wound-care kits, IV kits in sterile packaging, masks, disposable needles, syringes. • Reading eyeglasses and sunglasses. • Prescription and non-prescription creams such as lubricants, antibiotics, and topical anesthetics. • Dental and dental hygiene supplies. • Expired Medicines (Call for details) • Condoms, birth control pills and personal hygiene items. • Wheel Chairs, crutches, walkers.
