Maple Creek Music School

At Maple Creek Music School we have four instructors ready to share the joy of music and stage with you or your child! For piano, Barb Levorson, for Speech Arts & Drama and for Singing, Heather Macnab, Alana Hansen, and Chelsea Cox. Heather Macnab has been teaching music and working with youth for over three decades and is excited to continue doing so! She looks forward to meeting new kids and introducing them to the joy of using their own voices. Heather’s experience, besides being a private music teacher, includes directing musicals (for 20 years!) teaching musical theatre at Summer School for the Solo Voice in North Battleford, conducting Speech Arts workshops in schools throughout Saskatchewan for the SMFA, and adjudicating music festivals. Heather’s music education includes ARCT diplomas (Associate of the Royal Conservatory of Music) in Piano, Singing, and Speech Arts and Drama. She was the winner of the RCM gold medal for her ARCT Speech Arts Performance exam, signifying the highest mark in Canada. She is a member of the Saskatchewan Registered Music Teachers Association and the National Association of Teachers of Singing.
