I am extremely passionate about providing the first-time home buyer with the information they crave on the actual buying process from start to finish. I have had the privilege of helping many clients find their first "dream" home and to hand them the keys on closing day. And long before they met their REALTOR®, my young adult buyers had done a lot of research for months and sometimes years to educate themselves on the process of buying a home and looking at properties on Realtor.ca. What we realized when we began to look at houses together is that even after months of research there was so much they weren't aware of and how could they unless some one had told them? I have spent the past year doing my own extensive research and was shocked at the lack of information on what I can safely say is the MOST important step of buying a home... the "offer" or an Agreement of Purchase & Sale. Most websites describe Steps to Buying a Home in very generic and similar terms like get a pre-approval: find a realtor; yay... you found a home; make an offer and "voila" move in to your new home. My mission is to educate and inform first-time home buyers on what needs to happen between "make an offer" and "voila move-in" and what they can realistically expect during their first home buying experience.
