Homes for sale in Barrie, Ontario

Time to downsize? You’re not alone. This year, thousands of Canadians will make the move from the family home, citing reasons such as retirement, an empty nest, loss of a partner, simply the need to cut expenses or to acquire a low maintenance property to enjoy our beautiful summers, yet worry free when the weather turns 'pretty' -' pretty darn sure I'm not going out today' that is. But this won’t be our parents’ downsizing. Today’s older adults are younger – the average retirement age is now 62 – and they’re looking to right-size, or better yet 'smart size' rather than downsize. I have been a full time Realtor in Barrie for the past 17 years as well as primary caregiver to my Aunt who is in her 94th year for the past 13 years. It was for this reason that I decided to marry the two 'careers'. When you hire me, an Accredited Senior Agent, you are hiring a REALTOR® whose focus is on counselling, not selling. I have to find out your needs and wants before I can commence our activities as your sales representative. From taxation to legal issues, an Accredited Senior Agent can recognize problems and has the resources to refer outside professional services. There is a lot more than just selling, buying or leasing in real estate. As a designated member, I am equipped to work with the client or their family through all aspects of the process. Accredited Senior Agents must be of good character, have many years of experience and not only take ongoing prescribed courses but pass examinations in order to achieve/maintain this prestigious professional designation. I look forward to meeting with you and your loved ones. Cheers !
