Gravenhurst Youth at Heart Drop-In

Join us at the Gravenhurst Opera House every Monday from 3:30 pm - 7:30 pm for board games, card games and other exciting youth programming. Organized and run by a group of dedicated volunteers, the Youth At Heart Drop-In has quickly blossomed into one of the premiere programs for youth in Gravenhurst. Participation in the drop-in is absolutely free. The vision for Youth At Heart is to provide a welcome, safe environment for youth to hang out, have fun and learn a few new skills while they're at it! In addition to regular board game days, we also have monthly workshops led by various members of the community. In the past we have had a teen writing workshop, improv acting, yoga and hip hop dance. Together, we also created a float for the 2014 Gravenhurst Santa Claus Parade and hosted the Inaugural Graeme Murray Road Hockey Day. We would like to acknowledge the generous support of the following food sponsors who alternate turns providing delicious, healthy snacks for the youth each week: Gateway Café, The Oar & paddle, Well Fed, Bethune's Bistro, Pizza Pizza and North Café Market. We also would also like to acknowledge the support that we have received from several local organizations and businesses in various forms: Town of Gravenhurst, District of Muskoka, Gravenhurst Opera House, Applause Toy Store, Type Salon & Barber, Home Building Centre, Boston Pizza, Allair Media, Artstract, Muskoka Yoga Studio, Sawdust City, Carey's Irish Pub. Have questions? Interested in being involved? Looking to learn more? Drop us a line! We'd love to hear from you.
