Fork in the Road

My wife Marlene and I are both chefs! We have a combined culinary history of over 50 years cooking for the rich and famous, family and friends. We studied and worked in Toronto’s best restaurants. We had our own restaurant for over 10 years called Musky Supper House. We sold it and we moved here to relax. We can’t relax. We love people and food. Fork will be a funky little takeout catering joint that will allow us to keep our spoon in the pot. A kind of ‘L.A. food truck experience’ but glued to the ground. Fork in the Road is a cool little gourmet groove sitting by the park along the Muskoka River. It is a place where we can cook what we want when we want. The main deal is to make artisanal sausages. We make our own with no nitrates, sulfites, msg or mystery meat, using the finest cuts of meat and a pinch of beer grain from our friends at Lake of Bays Brewing Company. We dig potatoes and make fresh cut fries with some cool sauces and flavors. The special will be special. We will cook from the heart. You will see spring rolls, calamari, fresh smoked stuff, wild game, beer battered fish and chips and other surprises. We will also feature wonderful takeaway for you to heat and serve at home. Fork will be modestly priced, creative, and crazy tasty food. So,….. Stop in and say hey and ask us anything. Together we are going to brighten up this little corner of Muskoka, a place where you can eat something or take it home and cook it. Cool, Eh?
