Doug Chen Real Estate ReMax Broker Toronto GTA

First licensed in 1983, Doug Chen obtained his broker’s license in 1985 and joined RE/MAX in the same year. In 1994, Doug obtained the RE/MAX Hall of Fame Award and in 2010 he received the awesome RE/MAX Lifetime Achievement Award. Doug has always known the crucial importance of working as a team member, as he is an avid and successful (not always) doubles player in tennis and is a member of the Richmond Hill Slow Pitch League since 1995. In the real estate profession, Doug has had many professional development courses such as ‘Successful Negotiations”, “The Non-Spoken Communication Skills” as well as over 1000+ closed transactions and their successful stories to chalk up in the memory bank. Throughout the past 28 years practicing in real estate, Doug has learned that working with buyers/sellers/investors/lessors/lessees, the general basic principles are very similar, but no two are ever exactly the same. Experience and the ability to handle the different personalities and knowledge of negotiating tactics are truly vital and crucial to procure in these successful transactions. Doug speaks Mandarin, Taiwanese and aside from practicing in residential real estate, he has had numerous years practicing commercial and industrial office leases and sales in donut shops, auto garages, and flower shops. Doug’s success in real estate stems from his sense of honor and fairness and, most of all, the right to offer the client to exercise the best possible available option. After completing 1,400+ real estate transactions in his career, Doug Chen was recently awarded the RE/MAX Lifetime Achievement Award. Doug still thinks he has a lot left to achieve though!
