Craft Soul Therapy

Craft Soul Therapy is a part of my life balance. Always evolving and changing as my life unfolds my creative process and craft products reflect pieces of me. Becoming a mother introduced me to the softer side of crafting and the wonderful world of felt and stich art. I love creating customized stitch name hoop art and celebrating so many special names parent's so carefully select for their love bugs. Though I don't bake I love the cupcakes and how cute and pretty they are. Using felt, beads for sprinkles, and embroidery I create my own cupcake line- magnets, keychains, and bookmarks that accompany blank note cards. I love giving a card with a small sweet gift inside. As a dedicated employee of Canadian Blood Services I was inspired to create customized felt blood drops- keychain or magnet- that shows your unique blood type. They make a perfect gift of thanks to our caring donors. What's your type? Show it loud and proud. My fishing lure earrings were inspired by a brief job at Canadian Tire where I worked in the Sports Department. Stocking the fishing aisle I admired the colourful bait and realized they would look much better dangling from an ear and not in a fishes mouth! There is no greater escape or release than being in the creative process. It is true craft therapy and is not always about the product but the process. I am always open to new ideas and projects I love the inspiration I find in my daily life and try and put my own touch on each project. Crafting fuels my soul and drives my passion. Sharing what I create with others brings me joy :) Christina-
