November 2016 was first when the idea and dream of starting my own business came to light. Thinking one day to myself, well what can I do? It was so obvious and there in front of me all along. Why not start my own environmental business, since I have 20 plus years of combined education and direct work experience in the field. That's when the idea began and is becoming a reality fast. Brilyn Environmental Services will focus primarily on environmentally related services to following groups of potential clients: private/residential; municipal and; commercial/industrial. Listed below under each group of proposed clients are the various services to be provided: Private/Residential Services a) Water Sampling and Analysis b) Supply & Install Water Treatment Devices b) Supply & Install Carbon Monoxide Monitors c) Home Inspection Services d) Septic System Design Services e) Fuel Spill Investigations/Cleanup Municipal Services a) Drinking Water System Investigations (sampling, analysis, treatment, troubleshooting, etc.) b) Environmental Consulting Services (fuel spills, studies, etc.) c) Preparation of Emergency Response Plans d) Infrastructure Improvement and Repair Cost Estimates e) Environmental Monitoring during Construction f) Supply of HAZMAT response products Commercial/Industrial Services a) Construction Environmental Monitoring b) Preparation of Environmental Protection Plans c) Phase I and II Environmental Site Assessments d) All Other Environmental Investigations/Consulting e) Supply of HAZMAT response products f) Baseline studies and investigations One may ask, why do you think your business will succeed? Here is my answer. “My business will succeed for a number of reasons: • I have the education and valuable work experience in the fields of work I propose to incorporate into my business; • I already have established contacts from past working relationships in the industry from private residential contacts, municipalities and local service districts on the entire West Coast of the Province of Newfoundland & Labrador, including the Southwest Coast and the Northern Peninsula; as well as previous work experience with most major private consulting firms and contractors in the entire area. • I have never been more motivated, confident, and eager than ever in my life, to take on such an undertaking and know it will succeed with hard work and dedication”.
