Aarden's Chocolates

What a great ride it’s been so far! Since arriving in Stayner, Ontario in 1997 we've made many customers smile with True Artisan handmade Belgian Callebaut Chocolates! They did not know what hit them until they were melting away with total delight. Word soon spread and customers were travelling from all over including the GTA!! We are honoured to still serve those same loyal customers and many more because once you’ve tasted the real thing, why bother with anything else? Doesn’t that go for everything?! Our secret? Simple actually, EVERYTHING is handmade the true artisan way! All the ganaches, the caramels, the butter creams, you name it! All handmade from scratch! The way only a True Chocolatier knows how to do! Mark, our own Chocolatier and pastry chef has enjoyed all his education in Europe until 3 years prior to immigrating to Canada. He also has 2 degrees to teach the trade in schools and privately. And in true Dutch style, you can’t have New Year’s Eve without the traditional Oliebollen & Appelflappen with real Dutch powder sugar imported from the Netherlands! It started as a fun thing to do but now it’s serious business! Customers especially with Dutch backgrounds go crazy for these delicious treats! They will drive from all over from as close as Barrie and Toronto and as far as Peterborough and Ottawa to bring these hot specialty treats home! Mmm... they MUST be delicious!
