Dr Michael Awad - gynecologist/obstetrician owns and operates the Women Imaging Center in Red Deer.
We have been serving women in Central Alberta since early 1997.
We offer a variety of ultrasound services for obstetrics and gynecology to pregnant and non-pregnant women of all ages. We specialize in fertility treatment, follicle tracking, sperm washing and insemination. Hormone replacement, 3D/4D ultrasoud and exclusively to our office, the MonaLisa Touch.
Our purpose is to offer diligent, accurate, compassionate, caring and comprehensive services to all our patients.
Dr Awad and his staff are here to help women during their pregnancy; at different stages, in all trimesters, including genetic screening tests, ultrasound-guided amniocentesis, nuchal translucency and first trimester screening, fetal DNA test in Maternal Serum. Second trimester anatomy exams, biophysical profile, Doppler studies, and non-stress fetal heart monitoring tests. The sonographers employed at our facility are highly skilled in their field. Registrations are held in NT Certification, ARDMS and CARDUP.
