Vantage Builders Ltd. is a general contractor with over thirty-five years of construction experience throughout Northern Alberta, specializing in commercial and agricultural projects.

Since 1975, Vantage Builders Ltd. has grown immensely in the construction industry and gained a strong reputation for quality workmanship. Vantage Builders Ltd. was started by Hugh Ziprick and Jim Davis and is now owned and managed by Hugh Ziprick, Darren Davis and Walter Gegolick. The company currently employs over 50 people during peak season and has crews consisting of carpenters, metal building system erectors, concrete workers, framers and bin erectors.

Each crew at Vantage has the necessary safety training required for every job. Vantage Builders Ltd. is a COR (Certificate of Recognition) company, issued on July 29, 2002, through Alberta Construction Safety Association. Vantage also provides Workers Compensation coverage and liability insurance for every project.

Originally, Vantage Builders Ltd. began working with grain bins and metal buildings but over the past 36 years, the company has evolved into a multi-faceted general contractor.

Vantage Builders Ltd. is committed to preventing the accidental loss of any of its resources including employees and physical assets.

In fulfilling this commitment to protect both people and property, management will provide and maintain a safe and healthy work environment in accordance with industry standards and in compliance with legislative requirements, and will strive to eliminate any foreseeable hazards which may result in property damage, accidents or personal injury/illness.

All employees will be equally responsible for minimizing accidents within our facilities. Safe work practices and procedures will be clearly defined in the Company Safety Manual for all employees to follow.

Accidental loss can be controlled through good management in combination with active employee involvement. Safety is the direct responsibility of all managers, supervisors and employees.

All management activities will comply with company safety requirements as they relate to the planning, operation and maintenance of facilities and equipment. All employees will perform their jobs properly in accordance with established procedures and safe work practices.

Vantage Builders Ltd. has its COR (Certificate of Recognition) with the Alberta Construction Safety Association. This certifies that Vantage has:

-Prepared a written health and safety plan appropriate for the needs of its staff;

-Discussed injury prevention issues with its staff and invited their ongoing participation in the health and safety program;

-Identified hazards and hazard controls as an ongoing process;

-Developed and implemented good health and safety practices; and

-Developed a review process for changes and ongoing improvements to the program.
