The Town of Oyen opened the new Shirley McClellan Aquatic Centre pool facility to the public in 2005. The facility includes a junior Olympic size pool, zero depth entry, water slide, lazy river, and a water umbrella.
The Aquatic building consists of a Mens and Womens change room with lockers, showers and washroom. There is also a Family and Handicap changeroom both with showers and washroom.
The facility is used for swimming lessons, public swimming, aqua fit classes, and Rentals. When you drive or walk by and hear the kids, you’ll see why we feel extremely fortunate to have such a beautiful facility in our community.
