Regional group staffed entirely by volunteers dedicated to conserving and restoring the 14 watersheds,their rivers,tributaries,streams,lakes,ponds and gullies of the Conception Bay Central region.
Restoring and Conserving freshwater habitats and fish stocks through monthly clean up projects of rivers,steams and lakes{ponds}during which our volunteers plant trees/reeds to filter and shade aquatic habitats .Each year STRACC members embark upon one major project ,with the help of sponsors and volunteers we have completed a riverside linear park with
an Outdoor Classroom.Construction of a second linear park and classroom is underway .
