Dry Fly Lodge is a cozy cottage situated on the banks of the world famous Miramichi River, which supports one of the largest populations of Atlantic Salmon in North America.
As a fisherman and professional guide in Miramichi, New Brunswick, Canada, Perry Peterson has had the opportunity, with his clients, to catch and release over one thousand Atlantic Salmon; of which five of them reaching over 50 inches during the last fishing season… what a BEAST!
As a hunter, Perry has had the pleasure of taking three white tail bucks, three moose (one with a fifty-three inch spread and fifteen points), many huge bears and many grouse and woodcock.
A third generation fisherman, Perry, along with his father and grandfather, have over 100 years of guiding experience on the Miramichi River. Perry has 20 years experience as a volunteer firefighter and pro trained for ice and water rescue.

Overlooking miles of water, moose, deer and bears are frequent visitors to the riverbank where they travel to drink from the crystal clear water. The covered veranda is the perfect location to breathe in the fresh, clean air that rolls off the river and watch the salmon jumping and eagles, geese and ducks flying over head.
