Atlantic Dance Project

Atlantic Dance Project has been a longtime dream of it's creator, Lauri Morash of Millennium Productions. Lauri's passionate vision was to bring together dancers of all different skill levels from across the Maritime Provinces to work together on a new repertoire of choreography celebrating the joys of the Christmas season. Lauri was driven by her love for this special time of year and the opportunity to bring people together to share sentiments and memories of past seasons all while heightening expectations and excitement for the upcoming holidays. This creative endeavor will see dancers trained from many different studios coming together as one to create a first class professional holiday performance. Dancers from all over the region registered for auditions and ultimately twenty-four cast members were selected. The dancers range in age from ten to nineteen years and bring their own individual strengths in the various genres of dance. This is an excellent opportunity for young dancers to gain the experience of performing in a professional show. These young dancers, through their own growth and experience will surely become mentors for the many young audience members who also dream of pursuing excellence in dance. A dancer's gift to the audience is to entertain and what better time of the year to present this heart-felt gift to all than during this joyous, holiday season.
