Kittycat's Cakery & Confections

As my mom once said, I was "born with flour underneath my fingernails." Since a very young age, I've had a love of baking! Many fond memories from my childhood centered around (and in some cases, even on) the kitchen counter, baking with my mother, father, and grandmother. That love of baking only deepened as I grew older and challenged myself, tackling more advanced dishes and techniques simply out of a love for the craft paired with a joy of sharing with others. I'm fortunate to have even worked as a baker, cake decorator, or pastry chef for several years now. I am grateful to have apprenticed under and worked alongside skilled, knowledgeable, trained and certified chefs, who not only guided but challenged me in learning the techniques and tricks of the trade. My love for baking isn't only about the tasty treats themselves or the challenge or creativity; it's also about the joy in sharing. For me, "Can you bring a dessert" or "Can you make a birthday cake" aren't questions of burden, but more so blessings! In hopes of further embracing my love of baking and joy of sharing with others, I chose to begin this exciting new business venture. As it says above: "Tasty treats... Creative Cakes... Delicious desserts..." All available for you, and All created with love, pride, and joy!
