As a viewer supported public broadcaster, Knowledge Network offers programs of direct relevance to British Columbians. We play a vital role in supporting the independent production community in British Columbia and Canada through commissioning, pre-licensing and development funding.

Knowledge Network is commercial-free, funded by an annual operating grant from the provincial government and through support from over 35,000 individual donors, our valued Knowledge: Partners. Our digital broadcasting facility is located in Burnaby, British Columbia.

Knowledge Network Corporation, through a joint venture with BBC Worldwide, also operates BBC Kids, a children's digital subsciption channel in Canada.
