We, [Tim Harris & Barbie Nunn-Porter] are embarking on a personal project to restore and renovate 'The Cavendish House' which was originally built in 1928 by Mary Dayton (maiden name: Wurts) as her summer home. She was given the land by her mother for a wedding gift, which Mrs. Wurts had purchased in 1911. The design of the home came from a book called 'House & Garden's - Second Book of Homes' Published by Conde Nast in 1925. [see plan pages posted]
