Zoe Aionios Ministries

As Jesus started on his way, a man ran up to him and fell on his knees before him. “Good teacher,” he asked, “what must I do to inherit eternal life?” - Mark 10:17 I'm thinking that some of you may be asking, "What does Zoe Aionios, the name I have chosen for this ministry, mean?" Well, I'm glad you asked. And even if you didn't, I'm gonna tell you anyway. Zoe aionios is the new testament Greek words that are inaccurately translated either life eternal or life everlasting in our Bibles. However, the literal translation of zoe aionios is life age lasting. When the rich young ruler asked Jesus, "What must I do to inherit eternal life?", he was asking Jesus how do I inherit "aionios zoe". The rich young ruler wasn't asking Jesus what do I have to do to go to heaven when I die. What he wanted to know was, how do I experience the kingdom of heaven now! When you inherit something you don't receive it after you die. You receive it during your lifetime. You pass it on to someone else when you die. But, when you inherit it, you get it now. And, have you not noticed that in the Lord's prayer Jesus never taught us to ask our heavenly father to take us to heaven when we die. You can go to Matthew 6:9-13 and check it out. I'll wait for you. See, what did I tell you? Jesus said nothing about asking god to take us to heaven after we die. But, he did instruct us to ask our heavenly father to manifest the kingdom of heaven here on earth in our lifetime. That is what Jesus meant when he said to pray, "Your kingdom come, your will be done on earth as it is in heaven". Beloved, god does not want you to have to wait until you die to experience the best that heaven has to offer. Your heavenly father wants to give you his best now, in this life. Zoe is the New Testament Greek word for life. Zoe implies not simply living, but living a full satisfying god filled kind of life. Aionios, though it is usually mistranslated eternal or everlasting, really means age lasting. That is what god wants for you.
