YogaAntara (Cranbrook BC)

YogaAntara began as a small home based studio in June of 2008, quietly growing into a well known safe place for those who previously thought that yoga was something they would never do. Leah's style is best described as a blend with a strong focus on breath, alignment and strength building. With well over 2,000 teaching hours under her belt, Leah has shared her knowledge of yoga with people of all ages by taking her program into local schools, sports clubs, churches, businesses and women’s groups. After completing training in Trauma sensitive yoga in 2014 she began volunteering in support groups for addiction as well as in the local Transition houses. Leah is passionate about yoga and believes that if applied intelligently its benefits are limitless, covering the entire spectrum of both physical illness and emotional dis-ease. After a decade of using yoga to help and heal, Leah is now bringing her focus and experience to The Kootenay Therapy Center, where she is excited to be a part of such a diverse team dedicated to holistic health!
