I have recently decided to change course in my career path. Up until now, have been employed with Interior Health Authority as a home support worker and loved my job. My calling in life is to take care of fellow human beings and while doing so try to give them the best day possible. In December 2014 I was blessed with a healthy, beautiful baby girl named Mia. Mia is the inspiration to this new business venture and will be a great playmate for all the kids to come to wonder island. The name of my day home is inspired by the fact that we live on an island in the Little Slocan River and it will play a huge part in the style of care. I am planning daily excursions on our land for educational purposes and of course realistic and fantasy play. We have plans to build a play ground in the near future and i am seriously interested in making this a licensed day care with the outdoor education being in the fore front. I also want to use this page for ongoing info on parenting article, so feel free to share your trials and tribulations with everyone.
