╡Where are you located? Our storefront is located on Manitoulin Island, Canada; in the heart of the Great Lakes. Our address is: Gore Bay Harbour Centre 40 Water Street - 2nd Floor Gore Bay, Ontario ╡How long you have been in business? Whytes™ was originally founded in August 2013 at the Gore Bay Harbour Centre on Manitoulin Island. ╡Who started Whytes™? Whytes™ was started by Ashley Whyte (and could not have happened without the endless dedication of help, love and friendship of her husband Dylon Whyte and father in-law Jack Whyte). ╡How did you get started? Whytes™ began as one woman's pursuit to create a consignment art gallery. "I knew I had to create what I wanted and the opportunity was right there. I knew it was the right thing to do. As an artistan myself, I needed a hub where I could connect with other artists and collectors. I wanted to build a place where art didn't just hang on the wall, it was to be an interactive part of life. I have always believed in the integrity of art and it's ability to evoke a lost sense of culture and history. Our mandate is to source and create products which are not only of great physical quality and value, but personally relevant as well. Although the business started with only a few works on display by local artists, our selection of fine art and hand-crafted pieces has grown to include many other art forms." - Ashley Whyte/Owner-Operator ╡Who are the people on your team?
