Whitby's Books & Gifts

There are those who might come to meet someone here .... once a day, once a week, once a year, but rarely just once. Opinions are exchanged and sometimes changed here. Love has found its beginnings here. Treasures for the Spirit are sought and found, friends are made, smiles are bandied about with no attempt to suppress them. Books, art and music bring out the best in people. We see proof of this every day. You might wander in on a summer's eve tempted to linger and listen to the music, or enjoy the peaceful and positive energy of the store, or simply share in the camaraderie of connectedness and oneness. It's no accident that folks congregate inside our doors. We are more than a Metaphysical bookstore, we are an experience! Our remarkable little metaphysical store opened in May, 1989. We offer books that support healthy lifestyles and spiritual living and contentment of the Soul. Our focus is personal growth and development and we extend this to every facet of our lives from physical, emotional and mental to spiritual and financial wellness. At Whitby's, we are committed to taking responsibility for ourselves and to live and work together in a learning environment with mutual respect and co-operation for one another and for those in our community and in all communities throughout the world. With the introduction of our new global shopping experience on-line, you will find a wide range of books, gifts, music and spiritual & metaphysical tools that reflect our same in-store commitment of personal growth and connection to spirit. We look forward to assiting your needs as a member of the global community, and growing together from the heart as we further expand this service to you.
