Winter traveling time is shorter to Whistler Village from Pemberton than the neighbourhoods of Cheakamus & Function Junction. Whistler’s Public Transit system WAVE & Greyhound service Pemberton. Pemberton Taxi runs a small shuttle bus that meets these commuter buses & connects Pemberton to the new & old sites of Mount Currie. Whistler Jetboat, Whistler Sky Diving, & Whistler Shooting Adventures are all in the Pemberton Valley. Many Whistler Heli-Skiing adventures fly out of Pemberton Regional Airport to Valley Mountains. Whistler Snowmobiling charters head out to the Pemberton Ice Cap / Meager Creek Glacier. ESPN’s “Whistler” BMX race’s broadcasts are from Pemberton’s Green River track. The Ironman Canada runs through both the Whistler & Pemberton Valleys.
