When Nature Calls Environmental Education (formerly Kids For Turtles: Long Point – Norfolk Chapter) was established in March of 2009 in response to a lack of environmental programming within the Long Point Biosphere Reserve. Located within the heart of the Carolinian Canada, it is a region boosting the highest diversity of plants and animals in the country, a tremendous assortment of natural areas, and a community that supports strong environmental ethic. Our mission is to connect youth and families with nature and the outdoors, to raise awareness and appreciation for our natural world, and to foster a strong environmental ethic through community-based education and engagement.
