Welland NDP

The predecessor of the NDP was the CCF. The CCF began in the Welland Riding in 1935. We have both a Federal and Provincial Welland NDP Riding Association. Riding associations are the face of the Party and its Leader to local citizens, organizations, community groups, and potential supporters. Often, the riding association will be the point of first contact for interested members of the public. The riding association executive meet approximately once a month to discuss and plan business. Riding associations are the NDPs community both during and between elections. The riding association will engage in activities throughout the year aimed at recruiting, training, and retaining supporters of the Party and its Leader. A healthy, active, and organized riding association often means the difference between victory or defeat in the next election. To achieve victory we need volunteers like you. I hope you will join us.
