VON Canada (Victorian Order of Nurses)

There is no other national not-for-profit home and community care organization that provides the type of quality professional nursing services and the breadth of community programming as seen at VON. We are dedicated to meeting both the health and social needs of Canadians by bridging the two interdependent sectors and leveraging the best from both. This is the VON difference. We see an issue and we address it, because to us, it is personal. For more than 115 years, our professional staff and volunteers have worked together to meet the unique needs of the communities they serve. VON assists people by allowing them to return home from the hospital sooner, we help keep patients in their homes as long as possible, to live independently and to die with dignity. Our services and programs are delivered by more than 14,000 caring and devoted staff and volunteers. With 70+ different programs VON enhances the lives of more than a million people each year.
