Victoria's Arctic Fashion

Here you will find a variety of winter styles that I have designed by combining my traditional Inuit knowledge with modern trends. I wanted to focus my designs on something that was warm enough for the cold harsh winter but that would also still maintain a fitting silhouette and fashionable look. I can construct a piece for you from any picture on my page or if you would like I would be more than happy to customize a piece to suit your fashion needs :) For my coats I mainly use a winter fabric for the shell which is called commander. Commander is known as a wind and waterproof fabric which is still great to use for different styles and comes in a variety of colors. As for the interlining I use a fabric called rip stop that is also 100% wind proof and water proof. Also interlined with the rip stop is a thermal fleece lining which has a foil layer on one side and a fleece layer on the other for more warmth. Used for lining is kasha lining which is known as a winter lining that is satin on one side (goes against your skin) and fleece on the other. And last but not least I usually trim the hood with a fox fur which is an absolute life saver against the cold!
