Theatre Antigonish

Who we are: Theatre Antigonish is a non-profit, community theatre under the supervision of professional staff. It is based in the Bauer Theatre building on the StFX University campus. Productions during the fall and spring terms feature university and high school students, and residents of the local community. Occasionally guest artists are invited to act in or direct its productions. Community Support: Theatre Antigonish depends on the committed support of "town and gown" in all aspects of its operations. StFX University supports the Theatre by making its facilities and support services available, underwriting the operating costs of the Bauer Theatre building, and employing the Artistic Director and Technical Director. University faculty, staff and students, and local businesses and individuals in the community provide generous financial and volunteer support as actors, musicians, costume makers, stage crew, and members of the Board and patrons.
