What we do: - Full neurological assessments - Assess how the brain is communicating with the rest of the body - Safe, gentle and specific chiropractic adjustments - Create individualized care plans that include therapy activities to stimulate specific parts of the brain - prescribe and teach home activities Some of the types of issues we work with: - ADHD - Autism - OCD - Ataxia - Asperger's - ASD - Dyslexia - Failing to meet milestones - Apraxia - DCD - And undiagnosed developmental delays or shortcomings Examples of therapeutic activities we use: - specific exercises using the left or right side of the body to send signals to precise areas of the brain that need to be stimulated (babies are assisted by parents) - Sound, light and scent therapy - Balance, co-ordination and proprioception activities - Posture program (it is far more important than just appearance!) - Art therapy Some of the equipment we use: - Exercise balls, blocks and toys - Interactive technology programs - Chalkboards and whiteboards - Blue lights - Essential Oils - Mirrors - Brain wave sounds (specific frequencies) - Activity mats and games Remember, the nervous system controls the entire body.
