When her Business ' Bead strings and things' ended, she was a horse trainer, and she was very good! She taught me the ropes everyday after school and I loved it. I never ended up with the chance to go to Post Secondary Education, and instead became a mother, I worked for a while after but it killed me to come home each night and have my new baby already in bed, I only saw him for about five minutes a day- the drive to work. I left that job and became a stay at home mother of one, and now six years later, of three. I, still to this day, wouldn't be able to attend College, nor even be able to decide what to take, nothing available seems appealing to me, all that work, to be bossed around by a higher up, my personality would not go for it. Four years ago, while living in welland, I tried to take up refinishing furniture, I did a couple pieces, but really didn't know what I was doing, I had the passion but lacked resources. I used a basic paint from Rona, and didn't like that I still had to leave my babies in order to paint/do what I wanted ( Fumes! Yuck!) I also did not have the space in my tiny apartment and with that I didn't have the support from my better half. Two years ago I tried to take up the horse training that my mother had taught me, and while I enjoyed it, it was expensive and left little time for my babies. So I sold the horse, and we bought a home in Port Colborne. In July, after going through a terrible month with surgery and death I felt I REALLY needed to just go for it and follow my wants and dreams, no matter what. I signed up for a chalk painting class and was filled with excitement. So, on Nov. 7, 2014 I opened my page 'The Window Bench', as I couldn't keep everything, and I knew I wasn't going to just stop at any time - especially since I know had my fiancee encouraging me to do more, and go further and now, my entire family is encouraging and supporting me. I have a great feeling of accomplishment now, I always felt like being a stay at home mom wasn't quite enough, I dabbled in Scentsy a little, and it gave me some courage, I am thankful for that experience as I know it helped me get where I am, and where I am headed. I have met so many other wonderful and talented painters out there and I love that we can do what we love and bring out own uniqueness to the home decor world ! -Krysanne
