The Tart

Grocery Store in Whitchurch-Stouffville, ON · See Grocery Store throughout Ontario

"The Tart" was born out of my love for baking. My Mother and Grandmother were amazing bakers and everything in our Family seemed to centre around some wonderful sweet that we couldn't wait to cool down. Buttertarts are the one thing I make that all four of our Daughters agree upon and our Grandchildren get the biggest grins when they see these on the counter. These are what I am known for.....well....and pies! So this coupled with a few awards along the way , the pastry recipe my Husband swears I stole from him (lol) and 40 years since I made my first batch.... "The Tart" was born. They are made with quality fresh ingredients and the most important part...sweet creamery butter. Try one..I guarantee you will want a dozen! ~ Michele
