The River Café is located in the beautiful downtown historic arts district of Owen Sound. Housed in a turn of the century building with an original 14' restored tin ceiling, maple floors and exposed brick....it's the PERFECT place to unwind, relax and be comfortable. We love great coffee and we love our customers! "The River" is a small family run café with tasty homemade food, fresh baking, real baristas and <3 Casual hours...usually open from around 9:30am 'til whenever we close which is around 3pm (sometimes earlier/later) Monday through Saturday. Special evening bookings are also available for your event Lupercalia says..."The beautiful River Café, with it’s celestial high ceilings and colourful artwork adorning its walls, is a comfy nook with scrumptious salads and delicious coffee. Karen and her crew provide a rich ambiance and welcoming environment for all who enter."
