Annual sports tournaments, such as horseshoes, volleyball and ice fishing are also held regularly. Visitors can also enjoy a packed picnic lunch as they hike one of the local trail ways or share in a campfire and sing-along on a summer's night.
Hundreds of kilometres of unspoiled wilderness surround The Lakeside. The owners have spent much time exploring it and are happy to share what they have found with guests. Amazing scenery, mountain -top views and wildlife sightings are some of the things enjoyed by visitors as they experience a guided ATV or snowmobile tour.
