Depuis 1981, Okno Manufacturing est en opération et c'est grâce à la famille Penner qu'elle connaît son succès. Les membres de la famille ont d'abord dû mettre à l'épreuve plusieurs boîtes à outils et bancs de travail pour parvenir à leurs fins. Ces derniers n'étaient pas conçus pour résister à la pesanteur des outils et à l'atmosphère poussiéreuse des ateliers. Les membres de la famille Penner persévérèrent et finirent par créer des coffres à outils qui répondaient à leurs besoins. Il s'agissait, en outre de mettre au point un mécanisme qui glisserait facilement qui ne serait pas affecté par la saleté et la poussière qui se trouvent habituellement dans les ateliers. Après plusieurs années d'essais et erreurs, les Penner trouvèrent la solution : le modèle le plus performant est celui que vous pouvez vous procurer aujourd'hui.
