Strathmore is privileged to host the 2015 Alberta 55 Plus Summer Games on July 16th to 19th, 2015. The event will hold 17 sport and cultural events and a variety of community activities. As 2015's host community, it is our job to welcome, house, and feed 1,300 competitors and hundreds of visitors from 8 provincial wide zones. Strathmore represents Zone 2. It's our time to SHINE. The Games will leave a lasting legacy of upgraded community facilities; 55 plus engagement; and local businesses support. A total of 700 volunteers are needed to host this not-for-profit event.
