Open: Tues, Wed, Thurs from 9:30am-11:30am After hours help available too - just phone us! "Serving the poor and homeless in our community, we work to meet immediate needs of food, clothing and shelter. We also work one-on-one with clients to connect them with other people and organizations to meet other needs. We help address needs like employment, mental health, transportation, housing, prescriptions, counseling, education, parenting, prayer, crisis intervention and so much more." To use our services: Drop by anytime. No appointments necessary. Or, if it's after hours, please phone. Our caring volunteers will gladly assist you. To Volunteer: There are so many ways to do that! - cook freezer meals for our clients (we provide you with ingredients!) -bake for our freezer or for the weekly snacks that are served to clients with coffee when they come in. - serve in our Outreach room and connect with clients directly -donate gently used clothing, bedding, household items -donate food and toiletries, or new gifts for the Christmas Basket Giveaway -behind the scenes - there are countless opportunities to help with various tasks. Promotional materials designing/printing/distribution, photography, organization of collection bins, pick up and drop off of items, sorting/organizing donations -interact with our page - share news items, tell friends and family of needs, help raise awareness of both the issue of poverty and also the solutions being worked out
